The Polygon Village Council is an independent body consisting of web3 experts from Polygon Labs and Village ecosystem members. Its purpose is to supervise and focus on the selection process of projects participating in Village Build Ideas and Village Startup Support. The council includes members with expertise in investment, marketing, community strategy, and onboarding high-quality teams.

Polygon PoS recently processed over 16 million transactions in one day, demonstrating the capability and scalability of its network. Inscriptions, which are data stored within transaction notes, have gained mainstream attention with the release of Bitcoin's Taproot Ordinals. These onchain inscriptions provide immutable data and enhance the decentralization and security of the underlying blockchain. The significant number of Ethereum, BNBchain, and Polygon inscriptions recorded by multichain indexer @evmink further highlights the relevance of this technology. The recent technical upgrades to the Polygon PoS network have enabled it to handle these massive transaction volumes with ease.

Polygon has launched Polygon Portal, a complete UX overhaul called 'Polygon Wallet Suite'. It offers a unified dashboard for bridging assets seamlessly between Polygon and Ethereum, a Refuel Gas feature to purchase MATIC or ETH for gas, monitoring of pending/completed transactions, access to developer tools, and easy asset swapping with third-party DEXs. The Polygon Portal aims to improve the user experience and streamline the journey on Polygon chains.

HyperOracle has announced its integration with Polygon CDK, enabling Polygon builders to access unmatched computational powers. This integration allows for the development of novel applications, ranging from fully-decentralized stablecoins to AI-powered dApps.

Chainlink Data Feeds integration on Polygon zkEVM provides added security for DeFi protocols through multiple layers of decentralization. The integration is resistant to API downtime, flash crashes, and data manipulation attacks. More leading Chainlink services are expected to become available on Polygon in the future.

Polygon Connect India concluded its event with visionary speakers such as Sandeep Nailwal and Vitalik Buterin, breakout sessions, live demos, pitching, and more. The event served as a great closing to the 2023 DevX Global Tour.

Voting for the Buidl on Polygon#1 @jokerace_xyz round has started and will run until December 19. There are 277 submissions, and the top 100 most voted proposals will be eligible for onboarding to @Giveth. Voters are encouraged to vote for their favorite proposals to increase their chances of being included in the grant round.

Polygon is now offering DeFi solutions with Chainlink integration, providing financial inclusion and building resilience in bear markets. The use of zk technology ensures security and trust in DeFi transactions.

This document serves as a roadmap and outlines technical standards for startups and organizations interested in asset tokenization. The initiative aims to promote the adoption of asset tokenization in Telangana, a state in India with a significant economy and population.
