Amazon Web Services has added Polygon PoS to Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) Access, making it easier for developers to develop and launch dApps. The integration allows for faster time to market, automatic scaling, cost-efficient management, and the ability to build production-grade applications. Polygon PoS offers reliability, quick transactions, and low transaction fees, making it suitable for various use cases such as NFT marketplaces, loyalty rewards, real-world asset tokenization, and digital asset offerings. AMB Access provides instant and serverless access to the Polygon PoS mainnet and the Mumbai testnet in public preview. During the public preview, access is free of charge, but standard AWS data transfer charges still apply.

@awscloud has added Polygon PoS to Amazon Managed Blockchain, allowing developers to easily access and utilize Polygon for dApp development. This inclusion provides instant and serverless access to the Polygon PoS mainnet and Mumbai testnet, without requiring specialized blockchain infrastructure.

Polygon Connect, the flagship event of the DevX Global Tour, is set to take place in Bengaluru on Dec 7. The event will feature main stage speakers and offer various bounties for developers, including prizes for cross-chain dApps and the best use of Polygon ID. Additionally, Polygon is actively involved in hackathons and meetups, such as the ZK Hack Istanbul and the Pragma Istanbul summit.

The payment app MyLugano, promoted by the Lugano Municipality, has integrated Polygon PoS to offer new experiences for users. It allows users to explore thousands of dApps in the Polygon ecosystem, manage a multichain digital wallet, and make purchases using various tokens. The app will also introduce a feature for minting photos on Polygon PoS and will release a collection of NFTs. These developments highlight Lugano's goal of becoming Europe's blockchain capital and improving the city's financial infrastructure.

An update for the Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta infrastructure is scheduled for November 23rd. The update will last about 30 minutes and will include significant changes to the zkEVM node, bridge, and prover infrastructure. End users do not need to take any action and developers will need to update to the latest versions of the node, prover, and bridge.

Polygon Village has relaunched with a newly-created grant program of more than 110 million MATIC to help founders successfully grow in the Polygon ecosystem. The grant program includes community grant opportunities powered by Gitcoin and Giveth. Additionally, Polygon Village offers Village Build Ideas, which is a catalog of use cases for developers to build on, and Village Startup Support, a tailored support program for startups. The support program includes mentorship, vouchers from solution providers, access to an elite network, and grants. Founders can apply for the support program and grants through the Polygon Village Discord community.
