Polygon Labs has collaborated with @StarkWareLtd to develop Circle STARK proving system, built over the Mersenne prime field M31. This protocol enhances scalability of blockchains using STARK proofs and overcomes limitations of prime fields, unlocking the efficient M31 field for STARKs.

Polygon ID Release 6 has launched, featuring Dynamic Credentials that allow easy updating of expired credentials from the user's wallet. The release includes new features like testing zkQuery with QueryBuilder, customizing credential designs, Private Proof of Uniqueness (Beta), and more. Polygon is dedicated to making Polygon ID the most widely used digital identity ecosystem.

Telefonica is making a significant move towards web3 by partnering with Chainlink. This integration enhances decentralized security and innovation by securely connecting SIM SWAP API on GSMA Open Gateway to Polygon PoS. Vivo Brazil will be the initial operator to implement this partnership commercially.

Polygon has released the latest upgrade to Polygon zkEVM called Etrog on mainnet following a 10-day timelock. This upgrade includes support for four additional precompiled smart contracts, bringing the network closer to becoming a full Type 2 ZK-EVM. End users do not need to take any action as everything will work the same, only better.
