Brave has launched a self-custody on-chain rewards program on Solana, allowing select users to receive their monthly BAT rewards to a Solana address they own.

The Brave rewards program has been launched on Solana, enabling self-custody onchain rewards at scale. This integration showcases the capability of Solana for such programs.

Brave has begun the rollout of self-custody Attention Token rewards on Solana, allowing select users to connect their Solana wallet for direct BAT payouts. This move aims to boost accessibility by offering an on-chain option to complement existing custodial choices. Solana was chosen for its efficiency in transactions, reducing BAT distribution costs and improving user experience.

Brave Search, developed by a team from Cliqz, has processed over 13 billion queries since its launch in June '21. It now handles around 27 million queries daily. The search team is congratulated on their achievements, and users are thanked for adopting the private, independent, and transparent search engine.

The Japan Brave community celebrated the $BAT NFT Sage Burn & ECHO NFT magazine's debut, reaching over 1 million wallets with the help of @drip_haus. Issue #002 of the magazine will focus on Web3 gaming and feature content from Brave partners like @XBorgHQ, @BAT_Ambassadors, and the community.

The Brave community warns of fake $BAT airdrop programs, withdrawal bots, and multipliers. Users are advised to avoid sending funds, revealing private keys, clicking unknown links, or sharing info with unknown individuals. Any suspicious activities should be reported.

Google will have human reviewers check users' conversations with AI Gemini and retain the data for up to three years. In contrast, Brave's assistant Leo, available on desktop, does not record or share chats and does not use them for model training. Leo can be accessed in Brave by typing a question in the URL bar or clicking the Leo icon in the sidebar. Brave plans to introduce Leo in its iOS and Android versions soon.

BAT is widely distributed among advertisers, users, creators, and holders, with 99% of the total supply in circulation. It is the 12th most distributed token on Ethereum, with 67.18 million monthly active users out of 2.64 billion users. There are only 1.5 billion BAT in existence, which is utilized across various ecosystems on multiple chains.

Zcash, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency, is being integrated into the Brave Wallet. The milestone of making transparent Zcash available for testing on Brave Nightly has been reached.

Brave Nightly users can now perform transparent ZEC transactions through the browser's wallet. Shielded transaction support is to be added this summer. Zcash co-founder Zooko and an external party have contributed to the integration. Brave Nightly allows users to test upcoming features before public release.
