Brave, a privacy-focused browser based on Chromium, has launched a stable version for ARM64 on Windows PCs. It offers the same features as on x64/x86 with native performance.

Due to ongoing service outages with the previous node provider, Brave has rerouted all Solana traffic for Brave Wallet use and SNS lookups from Syndica to Chainstack to enhance stability. Users are advised to update their browser to 1.62.x or later to restore Solana use.

In January, Brave experienced significant growth with the browser reaching 59.21 million Monthly Active Users, a 3.8% increase, and the search feature receiving 810.7 million monthly search queries, a 7.3% increase. Additionally, Brave surpassed 25 million Daily Active Users, a new All-Time High.

The 'Strict' mode, used by 0.5% of users, will be sunsetted due to frequent website compatibility issues. The change will go live on Android and desktop with v1.64 in a couple of months.
