Brave Browser Warns of Fake Basic Attention Token Airdrop Scams
Brave Software, the company behind the privacy-focused Brave browser, has issued a warning about scammers promoting a fake airdrop of the Basic Attention Token (BAT). The company clarified that it does not run BAT airdrops, and any messages advertising such an airdrop are likely attempts to trick users into clicking malicious links, sharing sensitive information, or sending funds. Brave has over 60 million users and offers a private browser, search engine, and Web3 access.
