Thorchain reveals plans for the upcoming year, including the addition of Solana $SOL, memoless swaps, limit orders with trade assets, and the possibility of introducing perpetual swaps.

THORChain has reminded users that they can review all of the platform's assets at any time. Additionally, they announced that Solana $SOL will be added to the platform soon.

The BNBCHAIN team has announced the retirement of the Beacon Chain and the removal of Beacon Chain and BEP-2 assets from the network. LPs are advised to remove their liquidity or Savers positions before February 29th, 2024. Funds will be forcibly removed and returned. Corresponding pools will be whitelisted on BNB Smart Chain, providing LPs with the opportunity to re-add liquidity on the BSC network.

In the Q4 '23 Ecosystem Report, Thorchain processed $12.62b in swap volume. The early '24 roadmap priorities include memoless transactions, batched outbounds, trade accounts, orderbooks, and more.

Symbiosis_Fi has become the newest aggregator to integrate with THORChain, allowing users and partners to access Bitcoin liquidity and swap across more than 20 networks, ushering in a multichain future.

The Thorchain community (TC) has supported a submission that opposes a proposed ruling which would have negatively affected legitimate user transactions. TC, a decentralized platform, believes that swapping between public decentralized ledgers should not be treated as mixing or obfuscation. The submission, written by the @LeXpunK_Army team, was highly praised by the community.

Thorchain is now enabling large frequent traders to complete layer1 cross-chain settled swaps in seconds. Traders who have accumulated fees paid to an address will have an on-chain reputation called 'clout,' allowing them to bypass outbound throttles. This will result in faster and more competitive arbitrage opportunities and better price execution for swappers.

Thorchain announces that Taproot support will be added during the next hard fork, as it cannot be included in a regular thornode update.
