Status Desktop now provides tools for minting Community tokens, allowing for various uses such as managing membership, access to channels, assigning admin privileges, incentivizing participation, and monetizing a Community. The tokens can be minted as NFTs or ERC-20 tokens with optional attributes and permissions. Community owners can delegate token management and use the remote destruct token attribute to maintain control over the Community.

Despite bear market headwinds, Status has shown significant growth in monthly active developers and full-time developers, making it one of the fastest-growing crypto ecosystems.
