The Kitchen, a governance body, has proposed redirecting 500 CAKE tokens per day from the current farming rewards to incentivize liquidity for core trading pairs and enhance the voting power of veCAKE holders. This reallocation would not increase the overall CAKE emissions and would be implemented on a per-epoch basis. The proposal aims to bolster liquidity and voter participation without altering the total token supply.

PancakeSwap has announced updates to its staking rewards program. On Arbitrum, existing vaults for token pairs like RDNT-WETH, GMX-WETH, and LINK-WETH will now offer enhanced CAKE rewards instead of ARB rewards. Similarly, on Ethereum, vaults such as swETH-ETH and wstETH-ETHX will transition from ETH rewards to CAKE rewards. Additionally, PancakeSwap has introduced three new Position Manager Vaults on Polygon zkEVM for rETH, wstETH, and rsETH, allowing users to deposit WETH and earn MATIC incentives on top of LP fees. The migration of Position Manager has been postponed, enabling users to continue earning rewards without interruption.

Additionally, NMT Farms have also been launched on the BNB Chain and Ethereum PancakeSwap, allowing users to stake NMT-USDC and NMT-WBNB liquidity pool tokens to earn CAKE rewards.
