ENS has launched the EVM Gateway, an open-source primitive, as the first step towards native Layer 2 support on OP Mainnet and OP Goerli. The EVM Gateway is now available for early use.

The Optimism Foundation has announced the transfer of around 22 million OP tokens between its wallets. This is an internal planned transaction and is being shared to keep the community informed.

Lattice.xyz has announced the launch of Redstone, the first plasma implementation for the OP Stack, aimed at developers of onchain games and autonomous worlds. In addition, Lattice.xyz has joined the Optimism Collective as a core developer.

As part of Season 4 of Optimism Governance, Missions were assigned to foster growth and development within the Collective. One of the missions was to build a zero-knowledge proof for the OP Stack, which was taken on by @RiscZero and @o1_labs. The goal of @o1_labs is to empower developers in building zero-knowledge cryptography-based applications.

Mr. @kelvinfichter, a smart contractor, will be giving a tutorial on deploying your first smart contract to OP Mainnet with @chainlink on October 31st, 2023 at 15:00 UTC. Registration is required.
