Nexus Mutual, a decentralized insurance platform, has announced that users can purchase insurance to secure their lent funds on the Gearbox lending protocol. Despite the high annual percentage yields (APYs) offered by Gearbox, users can still enjoy over 20% APYs passively after purchasing insurance from Nexus Mutual. This insurance option provides an additional layer of security for lenders on the Gearbox platform.

NexusMutual has announced the launch of Notional V3 on the Ethereum mainnet. Notional V3 is an insurance alternative platform for cryptocurrency and other digital assets, providing coverage against various risks and potential losses. Staking pool managers in the Nexus Mutual ecosystem are offering 7.5m $DAI worth of capacity for Spark Protocol Cover.
