The Masa team promptly notified the community and regained control of the account. The incident was isolated to the Twitter account and did not impact other Masa systems. The team is investigating the extent of the impact and advising users to revoke wallet sessions and verify links before clicking. The Masa team remains committed to protecting and educating the community.

Masa has raised $5.4 million in seed funding led by Anagram to build a Personal Data Network on Avalanche. Other notable investors included Avalanche Blizzard Fund, Digital Currency Group, and GoldenTree. The funds will be used for the launch of Masa's subnet on Avalanche, a customizable blockchain designed to handle high volumes of zero-knowledge encrypted data.
