The proposal aims to reduce borrowing costs, unlock leverage possibilities, and improve overall financial efficiency within the Maker ecosystem.

MakerDAO shared Spark's weekly metrics, showcasing a thriving community. Supplied assets reached $5.86 billion, borrowings at $1.72 billion, liquidity above $4 billion, and ETH/WETH surpassed $1 billion supplied mark.

MakerDAO has revealed that the DAI Savings Rate (DSR) is now set at 15%. Users can utilize this rate by direct depositing through the Smart Savings dashboard or by wrapping DAI into sDAI using the Recipe Creator. sDAI can also be used as collateral in platforms like Spark and Aave. The DSR is expected to remain high until liquidity in the PSM improves.
