Coinbase Verifications and Coinbase Stamp Integration

Coinbase has launched Coinbase Verifications and integrated it with the Coinbase Stamp. Users can now link their Coinbase account with their onchain identity to access various digital possibilities. To claim the Coinbase Stamp, users need to establish their onchain identity on Base and have an active Coinbase account. This verification not only boosts Passport score but also grants access to dApps and benefits on BuildOnBase.

Gitcoin Passport advises against using any dApps due to recent Ledger exploit

Gitcoin Passport has taken steps to remove any integration with Ledger due to the recent exploit of Ledger's ConnectKit library. They have removed the old library from their codebase, as well as the WalletConnect option. All Ledger integration has been removed for now, and they will continue to use BlackNative for wallet signatures until they receive confirmation that it is safe to reinstate.

Attention all Passport users: Security concern with CyberConnectHQ

There has been malicious activity reported on the CyberConnectHQ site. Passport users are advised to exercise caution if they joined their Discord in the past 24 hours. The Gitcoin team is working with the CyberConnect team to address the situation and has temporarily removed the stamp for safety. Updates on next steps will be provided soon.
