Applications for #GG19 are still open, with a first come first serve basis for reviews. The early bird deadline for guaranteed reviews was on November 8th.

Gitcoin is running two Program Rounds in the Public Goods Network (PGN) for Gitcoin Grants Round 19 (GG19) because PGN is the only Layer 2 (L2) where the majority of net sequencer fees go towards building and funding public goods. PGN, built on Optimism's OP Stack, aims to create long-term funding for public goods and is committed to dedicating a large portion of revenue from sequencer fees to fund public goods.

The latest rounds on @pgn_eth in GG19 are ongoing. Applicants are reminded that Safe is not currently supported, so a traditional custodial wallet address should be used for payout. Gitcoin provides updates on various initiatives including Gitcoin Grants, GrantsStack, Allo Protocol, and Gitcoin Passport. Highlights include the confirmation of GG19, the introduction of Direct Grants in Grants Stack, the completion of the Allo audit with a mainnet launch in 1-2 weeks, and improved integrator and holder experience in Gitcoin Passport. Additionally, Gitcoin will be hosting two events in Istanbul for Devconnect and the Ace physical trading card game has launched with 20% of profits going to a Gitcoin Grants matching pool. The Collections feature is back for GG19 and the Gitcoin community is looking for ~7 curators chosen by the community. Being a Collections Curator allows individuals to showcase their favorite projects and amplify their reach and impact. Participants have the opportunity to nominate themselves or vote for their favorite curators and have a chance to win ~$40 in pgnETH. The timeline for nominations is from Oct 30 - Nov 5, and voting will take place from Nov 6 - Nov 13.

Applications are now open for the OSS + Web3 Community & Education rounds in #GG19. Apply by November 8th for a guaranteed review before GG19 kicks off. The application process involves creating a grant in Builder and then applying to the round.

Gitcoin is evolving its ecosystem by allowing sub communities to have increased autonomy and make their own decisions. The goal is to scale funding opportunities for web3 builders and ensure each program can operate with increased autonomy. The Climate Program is now included in the Community Rounds, allowing it to fund new initiatives and form partnerships.
