Applications for the Decentraland Community Summit are now open until December 8th. Scholarships are also available with applications closing on the same date.

Decentraland is hosting its first-ever Wellness Week from January 24-26, 2024. The event aims to explore opportunities for health and wellness in the digital age and will feature a variety of activities spanning different aspects of wellness. Creators are encouraged to submit proposals for 3D experiences, installations, or interactive games to be included in the event, with a chance to win a share of the $15,000 USDT prize pool. Applications are open until December 10th.

Decentraland is offering the opportunity to claim a unique NAME for your virtual persona. By acquiring an NFT name, you can have a distinct identity without additional characters. These unique NAMES come with perks such as access to Worlds, a permanent ENS address, and voting power in the DAO. In Decentraland, NAMES are displayed above avatars and can be linked to personal 3D spaces. The NAMES also include an @ensdomains subdomain for additional wallet address functionality. The DAO governs the platform, and to vote within the DAO, you need Voting Power obtained through holding DCL assets.
