The team behind a virtual world platform for creators has announced their readiness for the Game Developers Conference 2024. The platform, described as 'a virtual world for creators, owned by creators,' aims to provide a space for creative individuals to showcase and potentially monetize their work.

Decentraland has announced the start of the MVMS #TrackDays event. The first day saw experienced racers competing on the virtual asphalt track for a chance to win rewards including 3 unique wearables and 1000 MANA tokens. The Emotes 2.0 feature, launched in September, now allows all emotes to include props and sounds. Users can create their own expressive moves or explore the Marketplace for new favorites.

The DecentralandDAO Protocol Squad tested alternative game engines, such as the Godot Engine mobile version, to expand Decentraland to new platforms. This initiative was funded by a DAO grant, aiming to secure the platform's future foundations and foster community-driven innovations.

As part of the partnership, holders of ENS Domains now have access to Decentraland Worlds.
