A vote was enacted in the Curve community to automatically increase interest rates on crvUSD depegs and decrease rates on repegs.

In the latest week, 800k fees were collected, and 100% of that amount was distributed to veCRV holders, as well as cvxCRV, sdCRV, yCrv holders.

Following a market pullback in the crypto space, the crvUSD has been repegged to 1.0. Despite the pullback, only one hard liquidation occurred as the system automatically saved other risky borrowers.

A member of the Curve community expressed concern over a 20% borrow rate being too low.

The crvUSD borrow rates are very high due to a surge in leverage demand. The system increases borrow rates to push the peg to 1.0, encouraging borrowers to repay. Users are urged to repay to lower the rates and help stabilize crvUSD to the peg value.

CRV rewards are now available on crvUSD pools on both Curve and ConvexFinance on Polygon.

On February 29, 2024, the total crvUSD supply reached an all-time high of 160 million.
