Milkman, a contract developed in collaboration with CoW Protocol and Yearn Finance, allows DAOs and smart contract wallets to set dynamic price backstops for trades that will execute in the future. Several prominent DAOs, including Aave, Nexus Mutual, and ENS Domains, have already utilized Milkman for significant trades. The CoW Grants Program is also working on a version 2 of Milkman to further enhance its functionality. Stay tuned for more information.

As part of the Devconnect week, CoW DAO core team members will be speaking at the Decentralised Scaling Summit and MEV and Intents events in Istanbul tomorrow. They will also be making appearances at Ethconomoics, Good intentions, Decentralized RPC Summit, and DeFi Boat events.

There have been reports of 'couldn't load balance' errors in the CoW Swap UI. A hotfix has been deployed to address the issue.

In October, CoW Protocol handled a total volume of $998M and generated a surplus of $6.3M. They launched gasless transactions, had Halloween-themed updates, and received recognition from Binance Research. The top 3 notable batches were highlighted. The top 10 traders traded a total of $71M. Solvers generated a $6.3M surplus. The CoW DAO executed 3 proposals and there was one draft proposal. CoW Swap had various updates and announcements. The CoW Protocol team published several articles. Currently, there are no open job positions. CoW DAO is focused on fair and decentralized trading systems.

CoW Protocol has announced the release of Programmatic Orders and the Programmatic Order Framework, which allow for automated order placement in DeFi. Programmatic Orders are orders that create more orders and execute when on-chain conditions are met. The Programmatic Order Framework simplifies order creation by automating the necessary code and enabling orders to be executed with just one signature. The framework supports advanced order types, automated DAO operations, portfolio rebalancing, and more. It offers benefits such as leveraging on-chain conditions, deploying orders en masse, and executing many orders in parallel. The framework is fully decentralized and brings convenience and predictability to DeFi actions. CoW Protocol is also accepting grant proposals for solutions built on top of the Programmatic Order Framework.
