Centrifuge has announced its support for investments into Real World Assets (RWAs) from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Celo. More Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions are expected to be added in the future.

The Tokenized Asset Coalition (TAC) has released its inaugural State of Tokenization report, providing insights into the state of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and tokenization. The report covers topics such as the tokenized risk curve, tokenized private credit performance, and digital bond issuance. Additionally, TAC has welcomed 15 new members to the coalition, expanding its expertise and experience in driving the tokenization industry forward.

Centrifuge had an eventful past 3 months. Frax, Aave, and Web3 Foundation supported real-world assets. Centrifuge went live on Arbitrum, Base, and Celo. The RWA Summit will return in 2024.

Web3foundation has executed its $1M investment in US Treasurys on Centrifuge's Anemoy Pool, following their announcement before the holidays. Centrifuge is becoming a popular entry point for onchain organizations like Aave and Fraxfinance to invest in real-world assets.

Centrifuge Credit Group provides a comprehensive analysis of the skyrocketing popularity of US Treasurys onchain, a $25 trillion market. They highlight Anemoy, a pool of US Treasurys on Centrifuge, which has seen growth as organizations like Web3foundation, Aave, and fraxfinance choose Centrifuge as their entry point to real-world assets.

Centrifuge has released a significant update to its app, offering multi-chain connectivity for Arbitrum, Buildonbase, and CeloOrg. The update also includes new Portfolio and Tokenized Asset pages, as well as a preview of the upcoming Centrifuge Prime dashboard.

Centrifuge has successfully bridged the gap between decentralized finance (DeFi) and traditional finance (TradFi). The platform has achieved significant milestones, including minting MakerDAO's first real-world asset, facilitating the first onchain securitization, and collaborating with BlockTower to bring the operations of the first credit fund onchain. This integration unites the world of suits (traditional finance) and hoodies (cryptocurrency enthusiasts).

Centrifuge has proposed to bring Centrifuge Prime to Frax Finance in an effort to introduce a new counterparty and foundational infrastructure. The partnership aims to support Frax's RWA ecosystem and provide opportunities for future collaboration in deploying Centrifuge on Frax Chain and building RWA linked primitives.

The Centrifuge community has proposed ERC-7450, which defines a standard for asynchronous vaults. This will enable greater composability of real-world assets in the Ethereum ecosystem. The importance of new token standards for RWAs is highlighted in a blog post by @offerijns.
