The affected Ledger connector has been removed from the Aragon App due to an exploit found in the Ledger Connector Kit. Users are advised not to use Ledger for the next 24-48 hours and clear their browser cache. Personal funds should be safe if no transactions were signed through Ledger Live.

In order to meet the needs of both teams maintaining a protocol and outside stakeholders, like users and infra providers, Aragon is introducing Optimistic Dual Governance. This approach allows for fast and iterative execution while also providing a main DAO with veto power to ensure protocol safety. With Optimistic Dual Governance, protocols can be governed in a way that balances speed and safety.

Aragon OSx and the Aragon App have been made available on Arbitrum, allowing users to explore and build on the Ethereum ecosystem. This provides an opportunity for users to start building their DAO today.

Running a DAO on mainnet can be expensive, especially with high gas fees that can disincentivize voter participation. However, Aragon OSx offers a solution with Multichain Governance, which allows for low fees in mainnet DAOs. Utilizing this feature can help reduce costs and increase voter engagement.

Aragon has introduced a Multichain Governance plugin on Aragon OSx to enable protocol DAOs to govern assets, permissions, and parameters across multiple chains simultaneously. This comes after the recent launch of Aragon OSx CLI, which simplifies the installation process and improves error handling for faster debugging and problem-solving.

Aragon has announced the introduction of multichain governance to DAOs with zkSync and LayerZero Labs. This new feature enables DAOs to govern assets and permissions across EVM chains from one mainnet DAO contract, allowing DAOs to operate in a multiverse of chains. Split liquidity and voting power across different chains can be solved using the Multichain Governance on Aragon OSx, which allows the creation of custom census using the OFT standard by LayerZero Labs.
