Op Sepolia is now officially available on Alchemy. Op Goerli will be deprecated in early 2024, so developers are advised to start migrating to Sepolia today. This migration applies to both Op and Base developers.

Alchemy has launched UserOp Simulation, allowing developers to proactively simulate asset changes, approval changes, and on-chain reversions for any ERC-4337 UserOp. This new feature provides transparent expected outcomes and human-readable, ABI decoded results. ERC-6900 is a standard that provides guidelines for designing plugins for smart contract accounts. It enables developers to easily integrate standardized plugins in their apps. The standard consists of three components: validation, execution, and hooks. The validation functions ensure the validity of external calls, the execution functions specify the logic for plugin functions, and hooks enable pre- or post-validation and pre- or post-execution actions. ERC-6900 has released its reference implementation on Github and is actively engaging with the community through weekly calls and updates.

Alchemy's Rundler has submitted over 216k UserOps, with 59% in bundles with more than 1 UserOp. Bundles with multiple UserOps reduce gas prices for users and improve L2 throughput. Bundles with a single UserOp increase overhead for gas sponsors. The Rundler's median number of UserOps per bundle is 150% higher than its competitors. Alchemy has announced that its enhanced APIs are now available on Base. These APIs include the NFT API, Transfers API, Token API, Webhooks, and Custom Webhooks. The NFT API allows developers to fetch, verify, trade, and display NFTs. The Transfers API enables fetching transfer types for ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and Special NFTs, as well as historical transfers for a contract or wallet. The Token API allows fetching token balance, metadata, and allowances for any address. Webhooks provide real-time curated alerts for mined/dropped transactions, address activity, and NFT transfers. Custom Webhooks offer real-time data for any blockchain event, with the ability to track 5 million elements per webhook variable using GraphQL for precise filtering. Alchemy has partnered with TurnkeyHQ to offer passkey login, gas sponsorship, and batched transactions in web3 dapps, aiming to create a seamless web2 experience.
