Kraken Wallet uses Zerion API for positions, history, and PnL
Kraken Wallet, Kraken's open-source, self-custody multichain wallet, uses the Zerion API to power its portfolio view — delivering onchain data for positions, history, and PnL across EVM networks and Solana. The integration lets users see one portfolio even when holdings sit across different account types and any number of addresses.
- The same data model works across EOAs, EIP-7702 smart accounts, embedded wallets, and multisigs
- Interpreted DeFi positions cover LPs, staked balances, rewards, and lending/borrowing across major EVM chains
- Kraken first put Zerion API into production with Beholder, its DeFi gateway, then expanded it into the new Kraken Wallet after the two merged in version 2.0 (August 2026)
- Zerion shipped Solana PnL in March 2026 in direct response to a Kraken request
Kraken's director of product management, Washington Sanchez, said the API enables reliable onchain data and "frees up our time and attention to build more features that give people complete control of their money."
