The Sandbox is supporting Hollywood Hills, a community-owned financing initiative that lets fans hold equity in a cosmic horror feature film from the ground up. The film, a debut from writer-director Benjamin Rozovas set over one night on a Los Angeles "Dead & Famous" death tour bus, is raising $2.5 million through a Reg CF offering on the Republic platform, led by Sandbox co-founders Arthur Madrid and Sébastien Borget with The Sandbox as strategic marketing and community partner.
- Fans can co-invest and hold a contractual share of the film's revenue — recouping 120% before further profits are split evenly between investors and producers
- The campaign includes a 3,000-piece "Hollywood Hills Villas" NFT collection, available only to the first 1,000 investors
- A real-world "Dead & Famous" bus tour with Grave Line Tours launches this October, with first rides reserved for investors
