Zcash targets November NU7 upgrade for faster private payments

Zcash is targeting a November upgrade that would make private payments up to three times faster. The NU7 proposal cuts block times to 25 seconds and sets aside at least 60% of transaction fees to supplement mining rewards beginning in 2031, aligning with the network's Project Tachyon redesign to scale shielded money.
