The XRP Ledger's fixCleanup3_4_0 bug-fix package is set to activate on Wednesday, Nov. 4, closing a loophole that let authorized token-burners also mint new tokens — a security patch affecting stablecoin and token-issuer accounts. Validator support stands at 33 of 35 trusted validators, up from a dip to 26 that briefly restarted the required 14-day countdown.
The patch also revises vault and loan-default calculations tied to the network's forthcoming uncollateralized lending system, which remains switched off; XRP itself is unaffected. The lending and vault amendments are still short of the 29 votes needed to start their own countdowns, and support must hold for 14 straight days.
