The XRP Ledger's fixCleanup3_4_0 bug-fix package is now slated to activate Nov. 4, after validator support briefly slipped to 26 of 35 — below the 29 (80%) needed — two days before its scheduled Oct. 23 activation. The slip reset the required 14-day countdown, costing the patch its near-final window; support has since recovered to 31 of 35 validators.
The patch closes a loophole that could let a burn-only account mint new tokens and revises vault and loan-default calculations tied to the network's forthcoming uncollateralized lending system, which remains switched off. The lending and vault amendments are still short of the 29 votes needed to start their own countdowns.
Support is checked roughly every 15 minutes and must hold for 14 straight days; a server offline or restarting at a checkpoint counts the same as a no, and neither tracker shows which validators dropped off.
