Travel platform Travala has rolled out an AI travel agent that finds hotels, compares rooms and books stays directly through a connected crypto wallet — without exposing users' private keys — and is partnering with BNB Chain and Binance Pay to let autonomous AI agents book rooms and pay in crypto across 2.2 million hotels worldwide.
CEO Juan Otero told CoinDesk the agent handles the entire booking workflow, describing it as "literally like talking to a person that you know that does all the work for you," and explained why crypto rails fit both wallet-connected and agent-initiated payments. No details on supported markets, fees or rollout timing were disclosed beyond the launch.
