Sheriffs' association turns neutral on CLARITY Act
The National Sheriffs' Association has shifted its stance on the CLARITY Act from opposition to neutral, months after warning the market-structure bill would shield crypto crime. The reversal removes a key law-enforcement obstacle ahead of a pending Senate vote, which SEC Chair Paul Atkins expects as soon as September 15.
