
S&P Global has acquired OpenZeppelin, the smart-contract security firm whose open-source code underpins roughly $37 trillion in transferred value, including most of the world's largest stablecoins and tokenized funds. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal builds on S&P Global's recent market-data investment in Kaiko and targets the technological risks facing banks and asset managers as they move onchain — part of the ratings giant's push into tokenized-finance infrastructure risk.
