Nasdaq-listed Next Technology Holding has authorized sales of or loans against its 5,833 BTC — worth roughly $450 million — citing exchange security risks following the record Binance hack and growing concerns about quantum computing threats to bitcoin. The company said none of its coins are held at Binance.
The authorization marks one of the first corporate treasury moves explicitly framed around the October Binance breach and post-quantum fears, adding to a stretch in which holders have cited both risks. No sale or loan terms, timing or counterparties were disclosed.
