Lloyds Banking Group and Visa completed a live USDC settlement pilot, moving $750,000 in cross-border payments in under an hour — including on weekends, versus a day or more under traditional processes. Reports say the test routed transfers from Jersey to the US and ran on the privacy-focused Canton network.

The pilot tested 24/7 stablecoin settlement outside standard banking hours.
No commercial rollout date or product details were announced.
