Janus Henderson, the London asset manager with roughly $500 billion under management, and tokenization platform Centrifuge launched JQQQ, the first blockchain-native fund tracking the Nasdaq-100 Index, on the Stellar network on Oct. 27. The fund follows the issuer-sponsored model — Janus Henderson issues and manages it, Centrifuge provides the blockchain infrastructure and Nasdaq licenses the index — and is not available to U.S. persons.
- JQQQ is a segregated portfolio of Anemoy Capital SPC with Janus Henderson as sub-investment manager; it launches exclusively on Stellar, where real-world assets surpassed $4 billion in 2026.
- It follows the Janus Henderson Anemoy S&P 500 Fund (SPXA) on Base, the first tokenized index fund licensed by S&P Dow Jones Indices; Janus Henderson's onchain platform now holds more than $1 billion across Treasuries, structured credit and equities.
- The launch extends Wall Street's tokenization push into stock-index products and contrasts with third-party stock tokens such as the OKX-ICE plan, which 22 companies have objected to — JQQQ investors hold actual fund shares rather than synthetic instruments.
