Gemini switches to Zcash's Zakura nodes ahead of faster blocks

Winklevoss-owned exchange Gemini has switched its Zcash software to the new Zakura nodes ahead of the network's faster 25-second blocks. The exchange's Zakura deployments caught up with the network in just over six hours, versus close to a day for the previous software.

The migration positions Gemini's infrastructure for Zcash's upcoming scaling changes as the network moves toward Project Tachyon.
