Ethereum rival Harmony proposes shutting blockchain down

Developers of Harmony, the once-high-profile Ethereum rival, want to voluntarily shut down the network, arguing that state actors and AI agents have made security too difficult to sustain. Under the plan, ONE emissions would be redirected into an AI video business as the project winds down its blockchain operations.
