Dogecoin Labs formed to combine MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App

Dogecoin Labs, formed in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, will own and operate the MyDoge wallet, the DogeOS application network and Such App merchant payment tools in a push to give DOGE holders more places to spend and use their coins. MyDoge founder Jordan Jefferson will lead the entity as CEO, with the foundation and its commercial arm House of Doge contributing intellectual property and development teams.

• MyDoge reports more than 500,000 users; its V3 update connects the wallet to applications built on DogeOS.
• Such App's beta already supports invoices and in-person QR payments, though its link to DogeOS remains in the planning stage.
• DogeOS opened its public testnet on Sept. 30, but featured applications are still listed as "coming soon" and the proposed security link letting Dogecoin's network verify its applications remains a draft.

The consolidation connects developers building on DogeOS with wallet users and merchants accepting payments, though the ecosystem's applications and security hookup are not yet live.
