Deutsche Bank is close to debuting digital asset custody for institutional and corporate clients in Europe this year, pending regulatory approval. The service will support a select range of cryptocurrencies at launch, including bitcoin, ether and stablecoins such as USDC and EURC.
The move follows Deutsche Bank's participation in the consortium of 21 global banks developing a stablecoin and its broader push into crypto services. No further details on structure, supported assets beyond the initial list, or launch timing were disclosed.
