Chainlink has launched CCIP 2.0, letting companies layer their own security verifiers on top of cross-chain transfers. The release directly addresses the single-verifier vulnerability blamed for April's $292 million KelpDAO bridge hack, which drained 116,500 rsETH.
The new software lets firms add custom security checks to cross-chain transfers so they do not fall victim to the same single-point-of-failure bugs that plagued rival bridges.
