Chainlink launches 24/7 pricing with Aave as launch partner

Chainlink began rolling out Chainlink 24/7, a service that keeps reference prices for stocks, commodities and other traditional assets updating through weekends and holidays. It combines regular and extended trading-session data with perpetual futures quotes when traditional exchanges are closed, giving applications one continuous price series per asset that reflects derivatives trading rather than closed-market transactions.

• Aave is the launch partner, adopting the feeds for Horizon, its institutional lending platform, starting with tokenized versions of heavily traded U.S. stocks that qualified investors can borrow against.
• The service aggregates quotes from multiple perp venues, filters stale inputs and limits outlier influence; lending protocols can consume prices via Data Feeds, while trading platforms and prediction markets can use faster Data Streams updates that identify the current market session.
• It builds on Chainlink's 24/5 U.S. stock and ETF pricing launched in January, which now covers more than $1.6 billion in tokenized stocks.

The launch addresses a pricing gap for around-the-clock blockchain markets whose underlying assets trade on fixed schedules, where apps previously had to pause, use the last price or build custom valuation systems.
