Bermuda taps WalletConnect for merchant crypto payments

Bermuda has selected WalletConnect to bring crypto payments to local merchants, starting with ticketing platform PTIX in the second quarter of 2027. The move advances the island's plan to build an onchain economy. No further markets, supported assets or rollout details were disclosed.
