Coinbase becomes launch partner for Cashtags on X
Coinbase announced it is a launch partner for Cashtags on 𝕏 (X). The integration lets users see a ticker on their timeline and tap the Cashtag to trade that stock on Coinbase directly from the social platform, promoted with the tagline "See a ticker on 𝕏. Tap the Cashtag. Trade it on Coinbase."
Following the announcement, Coinbase teased the feature to xAI's Grok, tagging the AI assistant in a reply to its own post asking "what do you think about this?" — the latest nudge in the exchange's push to put its trading rails in front of AI agents.
