Brave speeds up Ask Brave and deepens answer research

November 1, 2026

Brave's Ask Brave AI search feature now answers simple questions roughly 70% faster and researches 10x more search results when generating an answer. The company announced the performance and depth upgrades via its X account, saying further improvements are on the way.

Ask Brave sits within Brave Search as the more detailed counterpart to quick AI Answers, supporting follow-up chat and a Deep Research mode. The changes cut latency for everyday queries while expanding the sources drawn on for longer, more thorough answers.
