ZetaChain Introduces Omnichain Abstraction for App Builders

Mon 6th May 2024
ZetaChain, an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain, has announced a new feature called Omnichain Abstraction, which aims to provide a unique value proposition for app builders. This feature allows developers to create general-purpose platforms and app chains that can access all blockchain networks from a single place. With Omnichain Abstraction, developers can deploy their code once and access users across multiple chains, including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Solana, Base, and over 70 Cosmos IBC chains. This approach is designed to be future-proof, as ZetaChain can support any new chain added to its ecosystem. The company claims that this solution is a much simpler and scalable way for developers to access all chains, while also enabling users to natively interact with smart contracts and deposit or withdraw tokens from any desired chain.
