Venus Protocol has launched VIP-251 following a community proposal to enable the $XVS bridge between BNBChain and opBNB. This will allow for seamless transactions between the two chains and is a significant development for decentralized finance (DeFi) on Venus.

A new Fast Track Governance proposal has been issued to lower the collateral factor (CF) of $BUSD to 0% on Venus. Users are advised to repay outstanding loans with $BUSD collateral and promptly withdraw and swap their BUSD supply to other stablecoins to prevent potential liquidations.
