Mythical Beings
Mythical Beings is a collection with the mechanics of the old trading cards. Users purchase packs of 3 randomly selected cards and must trade them repeatedly with other users to complete the collection.
Each card features a mythological creature from a traditional culture, reinterpreted in handmade watercolours by the Galician painter Ana Santiso. We have studied the myths in depth so that the NFT represents the original meaning and the culture of origin to claim its aesthetics, while maintaining the overall consistency of the collection. Purchasing a creature's NFT unlocks additional content showing the chapter of the e-book dedicated to that creature, and completing the collection unlocks the full e-book, which can be read on any device.
The collection incorporates gameplay dynamics such as crafting and morphing, and is divided into common, rare, epic and special cards. In addition, 50% of the coinage will be returned to collectors who complete all the NFTs in a jackpot that will also distribute governance tokens from the Mythic DAO.
