A cryptocurrency exchange has announced a reduction in delivery fees for buying and swapping cryptocurrencies on Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnet. The new fee structure is as follows: Bitcoin fees have been reduced from $5 to $2, Ethereum (mainnet) fees from $2 to $1, and stablecoin (mainnet) fees from $5 to $3. This change follows a previous fee reduction for Ethereum token transactions other than ETH, which decreased from $8 to $3 in November 2023.

According to reports, there has been a significant 145% increase in Bitcoin (BTC) purchases last week, just before the upcoming 4th Bitcoin halving event scheduled to occur. This surge in demand for BTC could be attributed to the anticipation surrounding the halving, which is expected to reduce the rate of new Bitcoin supply entering the market.
