The Livepeer community has approved a community governed onchain treasury and is now focusing on establishing the right processes for accessing and deploying treasury funds. Any token holder with at least 100 LPT staked can submit a funding proposal to the Livepeer Treasury. If the vote achieves a 33% quorum and 50% of the voting stake votes yes, the funding will be released. The treasury should be used to fund public goods in the ecosystem and Special Purpose Entities. Building community support and raising awareness of proposals are crucial for success. Transparent and accountable stakeholders are valued in the Livepeer community.

RefractionDAO, a video disruptor, is conducting a survey to explore the future of creator-led video onchain. Video and music artists who use video streaming and want to use video are invited to participate and be eligible for funding for further research.
