GMX

The GMX is a decentralized exchange protocol that deployed on two EVM chains, Arbitrum and Avalanche. The utiitty and governance token for its Arbitrum ecosystem is GMX, which generates 13% APR for the users. On the other hand, the token for the Avalanche ecosystem is GLP, which gives around 21% APR. GMX also has an API for developers to tap into its infrastructure.

The liquidity in the $GM pools of GMX v2 has reached 350 million USD across Arbitrum and Avalanche. There have been 113,500 users and 3776 unique traders on GMX V2 in the last 24 hours. The BTC and ETH markets each offer more than 135 million USD in liquidity, while the SOL and ARB markets each offer 21 million USD. The new BNB market on Arbitrum has attracted 3 million USD in TVL. The GM liquidity pools offer better Open Interest balance and are more scalable than GLP.

Liquidity in GMX V2 pools surpasses GMX V1 GLP pool

The liquidity in the GM pools of GMX V2 has exceeded that of the GLP pool in GMX V1. The Total Value Locked in the GM pools is now 284 million USD, compared to 219 million in GLP. Furthermore, over 102,280 users have already traded on GMX V2, indicating its strong Product-Market Fit. The GM pools offer a better Open Interest balance and scalability, thanks to incentives for LPs and Traders, as well as an Adaptive Funding mechanism. GLP Migration Incentives are available until Jan 30.
