Arrakis Launches MEV-Aware Market Maker HOT
Arrakis has launched HOT, the first MEV-aware onchain market maker, addressing the $1B+ MEV challenge in DeFi. The rollout includes three phases:
- Phase 1: Introduction of HOT AMM for sustainable liquidity providing
- Phase 2: Implementation of builder bidding for gated liquidity access
- Phase 3: Expansion to multi-chain operations with shared sequencer auctions
The platform aims to protect liquidity providers by recapturing MEV value, with LPs receiving the majority of recaptured fees. This development aligns with Ethereum's evolving MEV landscape and aims to create a more sustainable DeFi ecosystem.
