A mobile game studio developing on Arbitrum has successfully secured funding in a round led by Animoca Ventures.

Hourglass has deployed in the Arbitrum ecosystem, taking advantage of the permissionless profit-sharing model. The program allows Orbit chains to create customized L2s or L3s that settle directly to Ethereum or other Ethereum L2s. A portion of the profit sharing will support the Arbitrum Developer Guild. L3s settling to Arbitrum One and Nova are exempt from contributing revenue. The program offers support for highly customizable chain configurations and provides freedom from shared governance.

The ArbitrumDAO has several initiatives open for applications. These include the establishment of the Arbitrum Research & Development Collective (ARDC), an Experimental Delegates Incentive System, a Long Term Incentive Program (LTIP) pilot, and potentially the ArbitrumDAO Procurement Committee (ADPC). Orbit, a tool for building customized chains, is now mainnet ready with 15+ announced chains. The ArbitrumDAO is considering new developments, such as Arbitrum Stylus for coding in Rust, C, and C++, and BOLD for permissionless validation. The community is global, with active contributors from around the world. The Arbitrum Portal and Ambassadors program were updated to enhance user experience and share achievements. The ArbitrumDAO is considering integrating Stylus after LimeChainHQ successfully achieved 81% gas savings with a signature verifier written in Rust using Stylus.

The Arbitrum Foundation has allocated US$250,000 to support the establishment of GrantsDAOs. The proposal to establish the ArbitrumDAO Procurement Committee aims to create procurement frameworks for the Arbitrum ecosystem.
